Each hide is unique in terms of contour quality zones and surface. Some hides can accommodate large or long parts, while others, only small parts. In order to avoid wasting valuable hides for nesting non-demanding patterns, after scanning, the system immediately evaluates each hide from a “nesting efficiency probability” point of view, classifying and ranking them. Very detailed reports are generated, in order to confront the leather acquisition documents with the reality.
Once the hide is ranked, a label is printed with all relevant information, and the hide is stored electronically in the database, until requested.
